    UK - Wales Aircraft Museum - 1970s-1990s

Many thanks to RichT for sending in the above badge pictures.
The following listing is very much considered "work in progress". Details have been collected from many sources, details of which can be found at the end. If you can add anything, however small, please let me know. Especially useful would be WAM arrival/departure dates and repaint dates. Also any logs from the museum, detailing colour schemes/codes worn would be appreciated.
    Thanks email me

NOTE: For many years this was thought to be from XH177 but, quoting from Wrecks & Relics 21, "extensive research has revealed enough to debunk the theory that this was from XH177, it is now thought to be a 'boiler-plate' for development/installation trials". W&R11 (1988) was the first to suggest an identity but did say "now thought to be from XH177" and this seems to have been taken as gospel over the years. XH177 was with 13 Sqn at RAF Luqa, Malta when placed Cat.4(R) in 12/65 due to wing spar cracks. It was ReCat.5(c) in 04/66 and SoC 05/08/67. Remains were noted in a scrapyard at Fgura, Malta on 08/10/69.
